Convert AVIF to JPG

AVIF is great for the modern web but several destinations still refuse it: most email clients, some marketplaces, older CMSes, certain print-on-demand services. When the destination requires JPG, Tiny Pixel Kit decodes your AVIF in the browser and re-encodes it as JPG at the quality you choose. Transparent regions in the AVIF source become white in the JPG output (JPG has no alpha channel). For photographic content at quality 82 the JPG will be visually indistinguishable from the AVIF source — but it will be 2–3× larger. The whole operation completes locally; no upload is involved.

The typical workflow looks like this: you ship AVIF as the primary format on your site to keep page weight down, but you need JPG copies for newsletter blasts (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, classic ESPs), for marketplace listings (Etsy, eBay, Amazon image uploaders), or for print fulfilment partners. Rather than maintaining two source sets, archive your AVIFs and convert on demand. Quality 85 produces a JPG that is visually identical to the AVIF for almost all photographic content. If you notice banding in dark areas (a known JPG weakness), push quality to 90 and accept the larger file — it will still be smaller than starting from a JPG source.
